Prize for Innovation

The European Commission is launching the "European Prize for Innovation in fusion research".  This Prize is a new funding instrument introduced by the Horizon 2020 Programme and is being offered to highlight and reward excellence in innovation in the fusion research programme, as well as the quality of the researchers and industries involved. Participants are free to submit an application concerning any physics or technology innovation in the European Fusion research programme that has a market potential or has been taken up (or recognised) by industry to be further developed. The winners will be announced at the SOFT Conference.
