The Gran Canaria Airport, located on the coast of the island from which it takes its name, is situated 25 kilometres distance from one of the main touristic centres of the Canary Islands, the southern area, and 18 kilometres distance from the island´s capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
This airport has direct flights to 133 national and international destinations and a bus line connecting it to the city centre of Las Palmas (route 60). This route operates as follows:

To the Airport:

First departure: 5:45.
Last departures: 21:40 and 22:40.
From 6:00 to 20:00: two buses an hour (6:00, 6:45, 7:00, 7:45…).

To Las Palmas de Gran Canaria:
Last departures: 21:15, 22:15 and 23:15.
6:00 to 20:15: two buses an hour (6:15, 6:50, 7:15, 7:50…).

There are more than 16 kilometres of bus lines with several stops around Las Palmas and 40 line routes connecting all places inside the city as well as routes in all directions out of it.
