The Canary Islands Convention Center – Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, designed by Catalan architect Oscar Tusquets and built between 1993 and 1997, is located in one of the most emblematic places of the cosmopolitan city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las Canteras Beach, which provides a unique marine, urban environment with evocative views over the Atlantic Ocean. This Convention Center is the only complex of this kind which has the quality certificate ISO 9001:2000 in the Canary Islands and has been awarded the maximum status of tourist quality, the Q for Tourism Quality, distinctions that recognize the quality and professionalism of its services and spaces.
