“Life…Millions of complex connections resulting from thousands of cells. Human life is delicate, fragile, complex, formed in less than a hundredth of a second during the Big Bang. Organ transplantation has come a long way over the last 100 years, but the destruction of human life still occurs, unexpected… unpredictable.”

At the #ESOT2017 Congress we look at how transplantation has developed, and we will work together to start shaping the future.
ESOT presents: The history of organ transplantation - for patients, with patients - make sure you don’t miss it when the curtain is raisedSunday 24th Opening session 3pm!

The latest transplantation research in Clinical and Basic Science – with a twist

Part of the ESOT Awards programme, entry to this award is open to ESOT Trusted Partner group members. €500 will be awarded to the most active participant on social media in the run-up to the congress using the hashtags #ESOT2017, #BigBangBarcelona and #PoweredByESOT – so start spreading the news!

Given the speed of research in transplantation, it can be challenging to keep up to date with the latest findings that will affect how transplantation changes over the coming years. Our two ‘Devil’s Advocate’ sessions provide you with an overview of the latest clinical and basic science papers – each paper is presented by its authors, with a leading professional playing Devil’s Advocate and challenging the paper’s findings, followed by a Q&A discussion with the authors.

The Basic Science session will be held on Monday 24th at 5pm, with the Clinical session following at 4pm on Tuesday 25th September. Mark your calendar now!
